Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Eye Pencil Mahogany review

Let me start by proclaiming that “I HAVE FINALLY FOUND MY HOLY GRAIL EYELINER” Another cult fav product which works wonders.  Bobbi really nailed it this time.  I always go their counter hoping to find some1. but I’m too oily for their skin products and makeup 🙁 I’ll pick up their lipsticks soon though… but this baby was my jackpot.  I had bad luck with their traditional gel liner pots but I’m in love with this baby 🙂

Recently, I applied it yesterday afternoon to shoot for the Painterly review (HERE)  ANd totally forgot about it. When I went to wash my face at 1 am at night, IT WAS THERE. just as I freshly applied it. No fading, no blurring, no transferring on the upper lid… nothing!

Mahogany is a deep, rich brown with a hint of grey to cool it down. I was in search of brown liners but whatever I used had mostly red undertones or were coppery. I wanted something softer than black but deeper enough for my liking. It applies softly without tugging the lids and sets within seconds. When I normally wear it to someone’s house or in a mall , It gets me through the day. lasts more than 8hrs after which it slightly fades. When I’m out and about in the SFL heat, It gives me around 4-5hrs which is the best timing any pencil liner has given me. But if you’re looking for something to do smudgy looks, this is not for you~

P.S – Started watching Sherlock yesterday. Though I need the subtitles, I really liked it. Benedict Cumberbatch goes in my hotness list 😉
