Finding a good foundation is a no less feat than finding a good mate… A lot of you ladies will surely agree with me. Also, the saying “You have to kiss a few frogs before you meet your prince” Ok.. that’s too far fetched. But seriously, other than the Revlon colorstay foundation, I haven’t met my foundation match yet… *sob sob*

I just love loitering in the makeup section of drugstores.. even If I don’t want to buy. The hubby has officially stopped coming with me to stores 🙁 On one such trip, after reading healthy skin and SPF and neutrogena, I picked this up… I guess during thanksgiving!

My Experience with the foundation: I got this foundation when I was going for a vacation and had to roam Disney parks. I wanted something fuss free so that I just apply it and forget about it and go about frolicking the day off…But it wasn’t meant to be *sob sob* This foundation broke me out. and I tried it 3-4 times since. every time it just kept irritating my skin 🙁

The adverts and the website have heavy claims with anti-oxidants and blah blah but honestly, do these people really mean anything or they just blabber when they promote a product? This is the most lousy foundation I’ve ever used. The consistency is so runny and watery that I just cannot apply it by a brush. And the sponge drinks half the product. not to mention, I’m no big fan of the wide mouthed bottle either… Let me list the pros and cons before I keep babbling.

Yayys:
– Good shade selection.
– Quite affordable.
– decent quantity.
Nays:
– Oxidizes.
– Does not work for acne prone sensitive skin.
– wide mouthed bottle will dispense way more than needed.
– Consistency is very runny and watery. I know TMs which fare better.
Verdict: Avoid. even though neutrogena has a wide array of products. everything failed for me except their facewashes.
– Oxidizes.
– Does not work for acne prone sensitive skin.

I don’t really used Neutrogena because their make-up products never seemed to work for me. Great review as always girly.
