If you know me or have been visiting this space lately, you’d know my love for face packs & exfoliators. So when I got a product which has both & clay…. I jumped to try it!!!
Reviva Labs has over 38 years experience in making all natural skin care products that help us achieve healthy and younger-looking skin. Natural skin care products are always better than the ones that contain chemical. We always have to use products that won’t hurt our precious skin!
Cost : $19.00
Reviva says : Reviva’s new Pomegranate / Lactic Acid Exfoliant features all-natural ingredients. Lactic acid and a complex of plant & herbal extracts remove dead skin; pomegranate, a strong antioxidant, fights future skin damage and peptides, allantoin and soy treat past skin damage. Non-abrasive, each application of the mild, new exfoliant (can be used 3 times weekly), leaves skin looking clearer, brighter and feeling smoother.

My experience with the mask : I have seen Reviva products in whole foods so I know their claims are not false. The mask is in white colored pasty form with little granules crushed in it which are not coarse to touch. I like that it has lactic acid so it is a natural exfoliant. I apply it on my wet face for 15 minutes and when it dries up, I wet my face again & start massaging it outward on my skin in circular motions. It is not abrasive on my skin unlike some apricot scrubs but I can sense something grainy and soft massaging it. I wash off with warm water & follow it with a moisturizer. When I do this routine at nights, I do feel a certain special softness in my skin the day after.
I use it twice a week just because I have oily skin & don’t want to overdo it but it is perfectly safe for 3-4 times. All skin types can benefit from it & so far I haven’t noticed any tough tugging or scratching on my skin.
It has a lightweight tub packaging so travelling with it is easy. I use a spoon to scoop it out!

Verdict : it is a decent scrub cum mask and specially for my oily skin, it has become part of my weekly in-home facial routine!
